9.1 We accept children on the assumption that they are in good health and it is your responsibility to alert us to any medical complaint or history suffered by your child

9.2 We do not accept liability for death or personal injury to any child attending save to the extent that such death or injury shall be caused by the negligence or default of any member of our staff or any other default on our part.

9.3 Without prejudice to the above provisions, we do not accept any responsibility for your child until there has been a conscious handover of your child by you or your carer which is accepted by a member of our staff. This means that you must witness your child being acknowledged and ticked into the class. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not accept responsibility for children left at the main entrance of venues or who enter on their own from outside any building or space that we hire.

9.4  We do not accept responsibility for any loss of, or damage to, personal property belonging to you or your child irrespective of whether such possessions might be used by you or the child for the purposes of any HCT activity save to the extent that such loss or damage shall be caused by the negligence or default of any member of our staff or any other default on our part.

11.1  Covid 19:  Classes will continue while Government guidelines do not prohibit such activities.

11.2  An up to date Risk Assessment has been made for HCT, together with a further Risk Assessment from Sacred Heart Parish Hall.

11.3  We will continue to work towards an end of term Production.  As far as possible, all contingencies to offer some sort of show for the children will be explored.  If this is not possible, it will be due to circumstances beyond our control.

11.4  Should Government restrictions prevent classes from taking place, refunds will not be given.  Where possible, classes will be re-scheduled at a later stage.  If you are unable to attend the re-scheduled classes, refunds will not be applicable.  The number of classes missed will be made up by a minimum of 50% at the discretion of HCT Management.

11.5  HCT reserve the right to amend the class timetable and dates to continue tuition to Members under new Covid regulations.  Should a Member opt out of classes for personal reasons, a refund will not be applicable.

11.6  At all times, it is to be understood that HCT is a small, independent business, aiming to teach children in a fun environment, and adhering to safety rules.  If classes are not permitted due to circumstances beyond our control, it will be a loss to both teachers and pupils.  Please be assured that a fair and reasonable solution will always be sought, but understanding for the future and longevity of such an enterprise requires consideration and appreciation of these Terms and Conditions.

12   LIMITATIONS

12.1  No provision of these Terms and Conditions shall operate or be construed to operate so as to exclude or restrict our liability under the provisions of any UK legislation in force from time to time which are not capable of being excluded or restricted.
