Service Description

Class C are the lynchpin of HCT when it comes to productions. Confidence increases with more responsibility and the class, as a whole, work together to act as a Chorus for most HCT shows. They are almost at Senior level, but this is their moment to hone performing skills. Voices are pleasingly malleable at this age, and Class C attempt more complex songs, often with harmonies or counter melodies. Some street dance is enjoyed plus basic dance/ movement to songs, all aiding coordination. Tap dancing skills are increased. Each week the class varies on focus, but throughout this course they learn a good balance of all musical theatre skills. All children feature in the end of term production with lines for all. Our Spring/ Summer Term culminates in a show on Sunday 14 June at the Kenton Theatre. Although the term is split with an Easter holiday, as we are working towards one production at the end of term, Spring and Summer are counted as a whole.
