Service Description

Class B is a great development class. At this age the children are absorbing on a grand scale and beginning to understand how they can play to an audience. Drama games encourage team play, dispelling inhibitions and ensuring confidence amongst the friendly group. Approximately 4 numbers are learnt each term, up a level in terms of lyrics and melody from Class A. We cover basic dance with general movement and some tap dancing, along with a modern routine that they all love. Each week the class varies on focus, but throughout the term they will learn a good balance of all musical theatre skills. All children feature in the end of term production with lines for all. Pantomime costumes, rehearsals and production costs included in fees. Our Pantomime Term culminates with our big, annual production at the Kenton Theatre. All children are expected to take part as it provides context to their hobby when they reap the reward of performing. The Pantomime runs from 30 December (dress rehearsal) with performances 30 Dec - 3 January 2027 (no shows 1 January). If booking for a sibling, please note the first child pays full price. When booking for a 2nd child, use code: CHILD2 When booking for a 3rd or subsequent child, use code: CHILD3

Upcoming Sessions

Cancellation Policy

By booking this class you are committing to taking part in weekly sessions at HCT and performing in the end production at the Kenton Theatre. Newcomers are able to try the first two sessions of the class in a trial capacity, after which, should it not be a mutual success, a full refund of the fees will be issued (less £18 admin fee). Please NB that this does not apply to current pupils as they already aware of our classes and therefore require no trial. By signing up to HCT you understand that we are building towards a production and a degree of commitment is required to help each child develop in confidence and enjoy their chance to perform. We would be grateful if you could be mindful of the considerable planning required and inform HCT during the term of any changes that may affect attendance.
