CLASS A, S/SUMMER 26
Singing, dancing and drama for 4-6 year olds
Service Description
Class A are the Tinies of the group. During this class, children develop the confidence to stand and speak in a group. Correct speech and good diction are encouraged. We learn fabulous songs –normally, melodic classics that are simple in format for the young age group. Basic dance is taught to encourage movement, fitness and coordination, along with simple tap dancing. “Drama” at this tender age mostly involves speech and inter-active games for team play. Each week the class varies on focus, but throughout the this course they will learn a good balance of all musical theatre skills. Many children in Class A noticeably stand out in school plays! All children have lines to say in the end of term production, where they tend to steal the show. Our Spring/ Summer Term culminates in a show on Sunday 14 June at the Kenton Theatre. Although the term is split with an Easter holiday, essentially we are working towards one production in the Summer, so the term is counted as a whole. All children are expected to take part in the show. If you know you are unable to attend, please inform us before booking. If you are booking for a sibling (two children in total) please enter "Sibling1" at check out to receive a 10% discount. If you are booking for a second sibling (3 children in total) please enter "Sibling2" at check out to receive a 15% discount.
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
By booking this class you are committing to taking part in weekly sessions at HCT and performing in the end production at the Kenton Theatre. Newcomers are able to try the first two sessions of the class in a trial capacity, after which, should it not be a mutual success, a full refund of the fees will be issued (less £18 admin fee). Please NB that this does not apply to current pupils as they already aware of our classes and therefore require no trial. By signing up to HCT you understand that we are building towards a production and a certain amount of commitment is required to help each child develop in confidence and enjoy their chance to perform. We would be grateful if you could be mindful of the considerable planning required and inform HCT during the term of any changes that may affect attendance.
