Babes in the Wood
It is with great sadness that our production of Babes in the Wood is cancelled. The wonderful venue at Fawley Hill is in Buckinghamshire, falling into Tier 3 from Saturday. Despite all safety measures and precautions in place, our event is not permitted. The children have all been looking forward to performing, with excitement mounting as it was all so close! It has been a wretched year and I am truly sorry that we aren't able to do what we love this Christmas.
A fun, festive, family outing awaits you with the Henley Children’s Theatre at Fawley Hill!
We are proud to announce this unique opportunity, keeping alive the much-loved tradition of our Christmas Pantomime in Henley. Unable to present our annual extravaganza at the Kenton Theatre, we have created the next best thing at the Railway Museum: stage, lights, action! Enter the magical set up for …. BABES IN THE WOOD.
In true British spirit, and rather “Vicar of Dibley”, come and enjoy Panto as you’ve never seen it before. Bring a coat, a blanket… who knows, it might be chilly. There will be mulled wine and other refreshments available, and of course, a mirth giving performance from local children. Plus, you may spot the occasional emu, wallaby or lemur!
Please be aware that parking is in a field, only a short stroll to the museum. Limited disabled parking spaces can be found closer to the venue.
You will receive a map and information with your tickets.
We are very grateful to Lady Judy McAlpine for this wonderful opportunity. We hope many of you can enjoy some normality this Christmas – if you can ever call Pantomime “normal”?! The HCT family are thrilled to be entertaining you, and we hope to bring some cheer to the end of a rather rotten year.
Long Live Pantomime!
