PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

The Henley Children’s Theatre recognises that publicity and pictures of young people enjoying the classes and performances on stage are necessary to promote the group as a whole and to encourage other youngsters to pursue a healthy hobby. To facilitate this it is essential to use some photographs of children involved, past and present. Your permission is required on the Annual Membership Form, and without this, your child will not be photographed. Equally, without this, your child will need to be withdrawn from the production which is professionally filmed each year.

HCT is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for young people. Implicit in this is the commitment to ensure that all publication of photographs, in any form of media, represent participants appropriately and with due respect.

  1. Please ensure parents / guardians have signed the consent form for the filming or photographing of HCT members
  1. HCT never pass on addresses of their members. Should a point of contact be required, your permission will be sought to exchange an email address only
  1. Any filming or professional photographs arranged by HCT will only be taken by a professional who has been authorised to do so
  1. If you have any concerns regarding what you consider to be intrusive or inappropriate photographs, please report the matter in confidence to Muffin Hurst c/o HCT.

These guidelines are available to download on our website at all times. The information provided on the Membership Form will be assumed to be ongoing unless you notify HCT differently.
